RE: T-Pain feat. Ludacris - Chopped and Screwed

Here's Teddy in the studio recording "Chopped and Screwed". Looks like there's a bit of beef going on between him and his vocoder. Amazing.

T-Pain feat. Ludacris - Chopped And Screwed

I wish all R&B sounded like this. Chopped and screwed robot voice chorus, 808's a bangin, synths galore and a Ludacris verse to top it all off. Anyone hating on T-Pain is a complete fuckin' idiot.

Just Riddim Today

We've been slacking on the jump-ups at the Throwedblog, so here are a few party starters for the weekend. Shout to birthday boy "Ca$h Mickey" Vonesh; Holler at us for epic private party deets.

Busy Signal- Tic Toc (@320 kbps) This one has been murdering the circuit. 320 kbps for big systems.

Spice- Daggera (@128 kbps) This is the amazing response to that Aidonia track I posted a few weeks back, on the same riddim: Sky Daggerin. Don't be spooked by the 128; the quality on this is quite good.

Bonus-

Busy Signal- Saviour Divine (@ 182 [VBR] kbps) This is an oldie, but one of the more symphonic dancehall tracks you'll ever hear.

We'll have a Gandhi Roti review up soon. YT will be able to do it more justice than I, because he has eaten it every day since he moved to Toronto a few years back.

Paper Trail

Time to brush the dust of this bitch! Big things in the plans for Get Throwed. T.I has a new album out this week and it's pretty amazing. Defintley worthy of a purchase. Here's a little promo clip for it:

Noe - NOETorious Kid

At one point on the NoeTorious Kid Mixtape, Noe poses the question "Now, Do ya'll really think its Jay-Z?" (See: "NOE, NOE, NOE"). Well ya dude, kinda. The Byrdgang affiliate does sound a hell of a lot like a young Young Hov. The flow, the delivery, the cadence. Yep, you sound like Jay homie. It doesn't help matters either that you choose "Can I Live?" and "Dead Presidents" as instrumentals. Not to say that there aren't things to like about this Whoo Kid/Jim Jones hosted tape. The Baltimore native definitely holds it down long enough with his solid storytelling ("I Love My Bitches") for you to occasionally forget that it's not Jay but in fact Noe, Noe, Noe.
